The Houston Economics Club (THEC) is an association of economists, analysts, researchers and academics who meet regularly to network, discuss recent business news, and listen to world-class experts share their insights on current economic events.

THEC was chartered November 13, 1967, as the National Association of Business Economists—Houston Chapter. The organization changed its name to The Houston Economics Club on November 1, 2006, to reflect the organization’s new mission—serving not just economists but all individuals who seek a better understanding of economic trends in order to make better decisions.

Meetings are held monthly, September through May, from 12:00 to 1:30, at the Federal Reserve Bank of Dallas, Houston Branch at 1801 Allen Parkway. To learn more about the next meeting, click here.
